Founded in 2005 by the late great Harry Belafonte, The Gathering for Justice is the anchor 501(c)(3) partner of AGENCY Footwear.

With a mission to shift U.S. culture towards justice, The Gathering develops leaders, employs cultural organizing, connects the collective power of movements, and convenes communities to fortify the movement for racial justice and realize Dr. King’s dream of a beloved community.

Recognizing that no one lives a single-issue life, The Gathering builds solidarity through intergenerational, intercultural and multi-issue coalitions that are rooted in the historical Civil Rights strategies of the elders.
